We have arrived! Thanks to all our family and friends, this will truly be an unforgettable trip for Clint and his family. It's only day one and already the trip has been amazing and over the top. Clint's adventure began by getting to ride in first class on our plan ride to Orange County. He was accompanied by his sweet wife Kelly and four year old daughter Callie. It was a fun experience for them because they have never flew in first class before. Upon arrival to California we were greeted by a man in a suit with a sign that read, "Clint Layton and Family". He lead us outside to a limo and all 10 of us filed into the car and rode in style to the Disneyland resort.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed by some of the friendliest, most outgoing staff we have all ever met. Two incredible Disney workers, Bridgett and Kacey, immediately came out and helped us with all our arrangements. They followed us up to our rooms and we all had great surprises waiting for us. All of us received the classic Mickey Mouse ears with all of our names on them and the rooms were decked out in Disney insignia. The biggest, best and most over the top room-of course- was Clint and Kelly's.
When they came into their room, there were mickey mouse steps leading to a big living room area covered with confetti, balloons, Disney gear galore and notes to Clint and his family from Mickey Mouse and all the princesses. It was a little overwhelming because the incredible staff at Disney went above and beyond to make this stay exciting and unforgettable. God bless Mr. Walt Disney for creating such an incredible place for families and friends to create memories that will last forever.
Tomorrow we get to go into the park and we have a load of great things still up our sleeves in order for the Layton's to enjoy their stay.
